LEGO Indiana Jones 2 Will Continue Adventure With Online Coop (LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues)


LucasArts latest LEGO adventure may have all the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull that Indiana Jones fans demanded, but it was lacking in one key feature - online cooperative play. That's something LucasArts plans to remedy.

The publisher writes on its official Twitter account today that it's readying a patch for LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues that will add online co-op play to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. That brings it up to speed with LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.

Patch for IL-2 Sturmovik for PS3 on the way (IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey)


505 Games has confirmed that there will be a patch on the way for the PlayStation 3 version of IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey.

The patch come fix some of the problems that have plagued the PS3 SKU. It's currently going through QA, with a date to be finalised.

Multiple fixes to reported multiplayer disconnections and performance drops
· Voice chat issues relating to more than 12 players with headsets at any one time.
· Keyboard support and full mapping for all buttons.
· Performance boosts for the Berlin missions.
· Fixed occasional freezes in single player campaign.
· Improved handling for the Mustang P-51.
· Improved enemy AI.
· Extended support for PC flight sticks.
· New separate controls for guns and machine guns.

VGarabia: If you have been living under a rock for the past few years, then you may not know about the infamous Kamiya vs. Itagaki arguing. Anyway, James Mielke who was an Editor-in-Chief at 1up network and currently working as a producer at Q Entertainment tweeted that Itagaki has actually played Kamiya's latest game, Bayonetta.

LittleBigPlanet Used in Obama's STEM Initiative (LittleBigPlanet)


IGN:In an effort to promote President Barak Obama's renewed focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education (STEM), the Electronic Software Association (ESA) will join Sony, Microsoft, and a several other organizations in participating in two national video game competitions.

"Lifting American students from the middle to the top of the pack in STEM achievement over the next decade will not be attained by government alone," said President Obama. "I applaud the substantial commitments made today by the leaders of companies, universities, foundations, non-profits and organizations representing millions of scientists, engineers, and teachers from across the country."

One competition, Game Changers, will use Sony's LittleBigPlanet has a tool in creating new gameplay experiences that enhance STEM principals. Levels will be judged on criteria related to "participatory learning, the support of learning related to science, technology, engineering and math, and the degree to which assessment of learning is integrated into the learning experience itself."

Sony will donate 1,000 PS3s and copies of the game to libraries and community-based organizations in low-income communities. Winners will be announced this coming spring and the levels will be made available for download.

Original A Boy and His Blob Now Available on Virtual Console (A Boy and His Blob)


On Monday morning, video game publisher Majesco Entertainment Company announced that A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia is now available for download on Virtual Console. The classic puzzle-platformer game from the original Nintendo Entertainment System celebrates its 20th anniversary by challenging a new generation of gamers as it arrives on the Wii for the first time ever.

Big Screen Drake's Fortune Lands Screenwriter Duo (Uncharted: Drake's Fortune)


PlayStation LifeStyle: "When word broke that Sony Pictures was interested in creating a movie adaption for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, gamers, worldwide, were filled with excitement. Kyle Ward was slated to write the script for the movie.

However, Sony Pictures wanted haste on Ward's script, but Ward was rumored to have taken up to a year to create a compelling script. While a rumor, and not confirmed by Sony Pictures, we may know who is writing the script for the movie adaption of the PS3 mega-hit."

By Popular Demand: MAG Beta Extended (MAG)


MAGblog: It may be an overused expression, but the phrase, "Because you demanded it" absolutely applies to what I'm about to tell you. Yes, shooter fans, as clichéd as it may sound, because of your overwhelming requests to extend our beta period, we've gone ahead and done it. Originally scheduled to end on November 20, the MAG Beta 4 program will continue on through the weekend and into early next week.

Zoey returns in Left 4 Dead 2 mod (Left 4 Dead 2)


Left 4 Dead 2 may have only just been released but it seems some people are already getting nostalgic for the original survivors.

In one of the first mods for Left 4 Dead 2, television production assistant and "new" survivor Rochelle, is replaced by Zoey, the college student from the earlier game.

German magazine reveals final two SWTOR classes. (Star Wars: The Old Republic)


German publication 'PC Games' appears to have revealed the two final classes for Biowares upcoming MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The classes, the Jedi-Consular and Sith-Inquisitor, bring the number of force wielding classes to four, half of the games total.
